DULAND DESIGN provided Site Planning service and full scope Landscape Architecture services for the Waterfront Activity Center with a gym and spa on upper floor, the Boathouse restaurant with dining terrace, at ground level. The project transformed the under-utilized waterfront property into a prime destination for visitors and local residents in downtown area. It has greatly enhanced the outdoor event plaza with lush tropical landscape, stage, open lawn and boat docking areas.
Er-Hai Lake is one of the largest high-land lakes in China. President Xi has recognized the importance of wetland and water quality of the Lake as the most important wetland eco-system in the country. Our master plan for Dali CBD Wetland Park follows sustainable design approach that nurtures the instinctive bond between people and nature, and by fostering harmony between constructed and natural elements, provides opportunities for a sustainable community with life-enriching experiences and activities. The project encompasses a 5-mile long lake front area near CBD.
This 20-hectare Tropical Botanic Garden is located in the coastal rain forest of the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. National Geographic rates this Peninsula as the most concentrated ecosystem in the world. This Garden surrounds a 20-hectare lake to enhance and showcase local flora and fauna. It includes a maze garden, a 5-hectare arboretum and an on-site nursery.
Qianshan New Village is a high-end 55-acre mixed-use urban residential community. Program elements include high/ middle-end residential condominiums, and 5-star hotel. The Village Center includes a multi-level pedestrian mall, plazas, temple and high-end commercial uses. The master plan and landscape design is focused on providing residents and businesses with an environmental friendly community with a park-like landscape on the garage rooftop in an urban setting.
This 120-hectare Real Madrid master plan is organized around an entertainment and retail village which includes the Real Madrid future 100,000 seat stadium, Real Madrid Club 10-field training facility, a museum, an arena, an amphitheatre, a hotel with a wellness center and conference center, a movie theatre complex, a themed water park, retail space and restaurants. The main central plaza is the gathering space where Real Madrid’s fans can enjoy fantastic sport displays in the interactive plasma displays around the plaza.
The Century Grand Park is a transit oriented development with a land area of 6 hectares on-structure planned and designed to be the Central Sports Park. It serves 13,000 nearby residents. It is the heart of the community artfully blending all activities together in a mountain forest like settings. The cohesive overall natural flowing berm landscape creates an interesting, lush, beautiful and comfortable space for residents. The Park provides grand amphitheater, the great lawn, playgrounds, jogging hills, yoga pavilion, BMI course, state of the art fitness center and café and a variety of ball courts.
This 1-hectare private xerophytic sculptural garden is located on the East Coast of the Osa Peninsula near the Corcovado National Park. The project aims to show case large-scale sculptures created by local artists as well as hundreds of xerophytic plant species of Costa Rica.
The team was responsible for the redesign of the northern portion of OceanWay Promenade which is located in one of the most beautiful beaches in south Florida. Services included landscape, hardscape and lighting etc. The Promenade has given the beachfront at City of Deerfield Beach an instant facelift and it has become very popular among residents and tourists.
Terrace of Life Garden won the top award for the Tenth International Garden Expo in China (Wuhan) along with six other winners. Garden Expo is the highest-level landscape art event in the country. This year’s Exposition Garden is going to turn 500 acres of landfill into the largest city park in Wuhan. Inspired by the ancient wisdom and beauty of terrace farming, the Terrace of Life is designed to reshape and showcase landscape as an art, as an interpretation of sustainable development, and as a highly functional social vehicle and platform. This garden appeals to both intellectual and aesthetic sensibilities of one’s mind to gratify both the eye and the mind. Its existence aims to teach, inspire, celebrate and bond.
This master plan of Pioneer Park was completed and designed to include a community center, two major league baseball fields, basketball courts, a playground, a tennis center, concession buildings, outdoor plazas, boat ramps and trails along Hillsboro Canal to be integrated into a regional trail system. First phase of the detailed design includes a playground, a community center, plazas, parking and all associated site design. The master planning process required numerous public consensus building workshops and meetings. Upon completion, the city provides the public with a broad range of educational and recreational opportunities and space that would greatly improve city residents' quality of life.
Jois Yoga is an extension of the Ashtanga philosophy and practice developed by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India in the early 20th century. At Jois Yoga shalas in Encinitas, CA, (where Ashtanga was first introduced in the US in 1975), Greenwich, CT, Islamorada, FL, and Sydney, Australia, hundreds of students receive instruction in Ashtanga yoga though the vehicle of parampara–uninterrupted succession–in a lineage that traces directly back to the Mysore teachings of Pattabhi Jois, R, Sharath Jois, and R, Saraswathi. Jois Yoga Greenwich includes a beautiful yoga boutique, a yoga studio and a relaxing garden sanctuary with fountains and healing landscape.
Torre Financiera Balboa is located in a 20,550 m2 parcel on Avenida Balboa in Panama. Project scope includes Landscape Architectural design services related to the hardscape and landscape of the new financial tower. The design scope included the Balboa plaza located to the west of the financial tower, the financial plaza and arrival areas, the interior food court and the streetscape treatment for pedestrian connections to the proposed Metro System.
